Gotcha’s launches new electric rideshare platform in Sarasota, FL

Gotcha launched an electric ride share system in downtown Sarasota, FL to help residents and visitors easily cruise through the city. Gotcha offers a comfortable, dependable, and convenient way to get around without worrying about parking or taxing the environment with a gas-powered vehicle.

Gotcha’s ride share service will operate 7 days a week, from 11:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. Sunday through Thursday and 11:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. on Friday and Saturday. The cost to ride anywhere within the service area is $3 per passenger. Riders can request a ride through the Gotcha app or flag down a Gotcha vehicle on the street.

Gotcha’s fleet are six-passenger, 100% electric vehicles that last up to 100 miles per charge, as well as one ADA-accessible wheelchair accessible vehicle. Each vehicle features a reverse camera and six doors with roll-up windows. All Gotcha drivers are trained, experienced professionals committed to ensuring every ride is safe, reliable, and comfortable.

“Gotcha is re-imagining the ride share industry with point-to-point electric vehicles and an unparalleled rider experience,” said Sean Flood, CEO and founder of Gotcha. “Our goal is to reduce the number of single-use vehicles on the road by offering a shared, sustainable micro-transit solution for the city of Sarasota.”
